ELECTRA TAYLOR, CAM, CAPS
Electra serves as a Regional Supervisor for Alpha Barnes. In her role, she manages, directs and implements strategies to ensure the successful achievement of operational efficiencies and profitability for clients and their assets. Electra offers her clients expertise in a diverse collection of management activities including resident relations, vendor management, lease compliance, and contract negotiation. She directly supervises the activities of all property managers for a portfolio of properties targeting positive financial results. Ms. Taylor supervises 10 assets, totaling almost 1,100 units comprised of Low-Income Housing Tax (LIHTC) housing, Senior and conventional properties.
Electra Taylor attended Collin County Community College and began her career in 1997 working for an HOA. She joined the Air Force and was stationed overseas in Japan for a year. While there, she began her own bookkeeping business. She returned to the States in 2003 and took a position as an Asset Manager for an international property owner. company. From 2004 to 2008 she served as a Regional Manager in Dallas, before joining Alpha Barnes as a Property Manager at a San Antonio low-income housing property. She was promoted to Regional Supervisor in December 2018. Electra has had extensive experience working on LIHTC properties and has continued to work with tax credit communities and their owners.
Electra is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS).
